July 5th, 2008 Thanks to Everyone for all Three Films Here's a thought...

Hello all my past cast, crew, extras, etc:

I just wanted to say what a true pleasure it has been for me these past few years to work with a lot of talented people on the East Coast. I was told before that to make a film on the East Coast you would not find quality performers. Well I think we all proved everyone wrong. And anyone that was involved in any of the three films we did:

Amends to My Life (2006)

The Life I Lived (2007)

Cowboy Killer (2008)

I want to thank you for being involved and making them possible! Everyone did such an amazing job and I couldn’t of done it without any of you. I am pleased to of met so many great actors along the way. A few people stand out that I’m personally grateful to;

First off Jason Baustin who turned out to be a great DP and it was an honor and a pleasure to of met you and to have learned so much about filmmaking from you. I hope our paths will cross again! Who knew you could meet someone online?! I’m glad I did! It was interesting watching you go from being the DP on the first two films to the Director. I hope you feel you have progressed and learned as much as I did. Keep the dream alive always!

Second David Buckler, who again someone I met online and could not believe had so much talent. He started off in the first film and had like five lines and then I wanted to give him a lead because I really felt he could do it, and he didnt just do it once, but twice! And also joined the behind the scenes and became a producer. David you certainly are a man that has given me a lot of inspiring words that have really helped to keep me in line and on the right path! I hope we will continue to work on films again in the future.

Third Richard Bennett, Richard we go back over five years and you started then giving me actng advice and it still continues to this day. It was such an honor to be able to have you as a lead in a film and a chance to direct you,(not that I had to do much!). You’re a man with a lot of talent and someone I really hopes finds his place in this business. Thank you for all your years of wisdom and helping me progress as a filmmaker.

Fourth Jason Simmons, Who knew two guys working at a movie theater over fours years ago would end up working on two Indie features together and become best friends? I sure as Hell didn’t! But I certainly am glad it turned out this way! For a guy who hasn’t graduated yet you have a lot of talent and I look forward to continuing our work together in LA!

And Fifth my good friend Paul Bailey AKA; Mr. Needham, and Roy Thompson the Cowboy Killer! You have certainly progressed as a film actor these last two years! For someone who has never done film before you certainly nailed the film element down. It has been a pleasure over the years hearing your stories of life and being able to work beside you in all facets of life! Thanks for the great journey!

And last, but of course not least, My Best friend and dedicated filmmaker Jaymes Camery. Well we have been friends for a long time and we have now done three feature films together and multiple shorts. It has been a real pleasure being able to have you by my side in life for advice and by side on camera! Who knew two weeks of writing a script in my tiny LA Apartment in May of 2006 would result in two years and three feature films?! I am so glad it turned out this way and wouldn’t change a thing! I look forward to our many years of continuing the pursuit of the dream!

Well I know I didn’t mention everyone but I have just as many nice things I could say about so many people we worked with, but I don’t have time for everyone unfortunately. I really look forward to seeing everyones progression in the film biz over the next few years! I myself will be continuing the pursuit, just on a different coast! Best of luck to everyone in all their future endeavors!

 Sincerely,

Ben Solenberger
